By accessing or using the CleanLife mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
CleanLife is a food scanning and nutrition tracking application that provides information about food products, including nutritional content, ingredients, allergens, and personalized health insights. We aggregate data from public databases and provide analysis tools to help you make informed dietary choices.
CleanLife is designed to work without creating an account or providing an email address. Some information (such as your nutrition targets, favorites, and daily log) may be stored locally on your device.
If you choose to submit user content (for example, ingredient photos or ingredient text corrections), that submission may be stored on our servers so we can operate and improve the Service.

If you subscribe through the Apple App Store, subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis and are charged to your Apple ID account.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You may cancel at any time in your Apple ID subscription settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s policies.
Some product listings may include data derived from user-submitted photos (for example, ingredient photos). This information is not verified by CleanLife and is provided for informational purposes only.
If you submit photos or edits, you are responsible for ensuring they are accurate, complete, and relate to the correct product.

You retain ownership of your user-submitted content. By submitting it through the Service, you grant CleanLife a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and extraction), and use that content to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including improving the shared product database for all users.

We source product information from public databases (including OpenFoodFacts) and user contributions. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Product formulations and labeling may change without notice.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CleanLife and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Product data from OpenFoodFacts is licensed under the Open Database License (ODbL).
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEANLIFE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CleanLife and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You can delete your uploaded contributions from within the app by going to Settings → Your Data → Delete uploaded contributions.
You can also reset local app data on your device (such as profile settings and daily logs) via Settings → Reset app data.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which CleanLife operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
